Region I Welding Vocational Courses in TESDA

In the Region I provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, and Pangasinan, residents who wish to acquire welding skills may enroll in a variety of Region I Welding Vocational Courses in TESDA. These TESDA short courses are part of the TVET or Technical Vocational Education and Training Program of TESDA which aims to empower the Filipino workforce with skills that are in line with international competency standards. Among the welding courses being offered in Region I are Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding. For any of these TESDA welding courses, the minimum age of students to be accepted for enrollment is 18 years old and must be able to submit all of the following enrollment requirements:

1. Birth Certificate from NSO (original and photocopy) 
2. High School Card or Diploma (for high school graduates)
3. Original and photocopy of Transcript of Records and Diploma (for college graduates)
4. Barangay Clearance (original and photocopy)
5. Two (2) pcs. of 1x1 and 2x2 pictures (white background)
