This TESDA course is designed to develop and enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of a mechatronics and automation technician, in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic and common competencies in addition to the core competencies such as installing, configuring and testing mechatronics and automation devices/system. The minimum training duration for each of the Mechatronics Servicing course are:
Mechatronics Servicing NC II - 158 hrs
Mechatronics Servicing NC III - 196 hrs
Mechatronics Servicing NC IV - 200 hrs
Trainees who wish to enroll in Mechatronics Servicing NC II Short Vocational Training Course should possess the following qualifications:
- Must have completed at least 10 yrs. basic education or alternative learning systems (ALS) certificate of achievement with grade 10 equivalent holder
- Can communicate orally and in writing
- Can perform basic mathematical computations
